Anastasia's a LASH GENIUS!

File this under "Stuff I'm Excited About!" Anastasia Beverly Hills came out with this prodigy of a product called the Lash Genius. It's a Clear Waterproof Topcoat that instantly waterproofs, refreshes, and protects any mascara all day, without the typical drying or clumping. According to the site, "Its advanced, lightweight formula glides on smooth, dries quickly, and gives your lashes a touchably soft lacquer finish that lasts all day.

I LOVE this because I can't stand how hard it is to remove waterproof mascara without getting dark smears all over your skin. This product is CLEAR so it won't leave behind a mess like other waterproof mascaras do. It also goes over any regular mascara so you don't also need to keep a waterproof one in your stash, which will (of course) eventually dry out.

Bravo Anastasia!

Here's some additional things about the product that make me love it so much:

Reel Sexy Time with MAC

I'm excited to show you guys MAC's newest collections today! I was invited to MAC Pro Roberston's special event on Thursday, March 30th and boy did it bring back memories of working at the Vegas store years ago! It was packed to the brim with MAC artists and fans alike. The music was thumping, and there was endless amounts of movie theatre-style popcorn, candy bars and flowing champagne under red lighting.

Here's my friend and fellow artist Nicole accepting some yummy pink popcorn from the pretty model.

Wendy, a lovely MAC artist, applying Whisper of Gilt from the In Extra Dimension line to my cheekbones.

She was so sweet! It was hard to hear in there, but she was patient and explained to me that Whisper to Gilt is a liquid-to-powder formula made to highlight and sculpt the face. She applied it using the 190 brush.

Here's the In Extra Dimension display

Oh, how I love me some body paint products...

I loved this blue Extra Dimension eye shadow in Blue Orbit

Cute boys serving alcohol and candy are always a plus.

Nicole feeding her friend popcorn lol

It was a reunion, complete with our long time friend and manager at Pro, Jason Stanphil!

The Tre's Chic display features 6 ALL NEW blushes!

The REEL SEXY display is full service...a little bit of everything!

One of my favorite products of the evening was the Prep N Prime Skin Smoother. It's waxy, you use your fingers to apply all over wrinkles and oily areas to smooth over and help the appearance of your foundation. I want!

Cool movie theatre reenactment!

Happy to be back in my element...

Store move alert: The Paseo Mall (Pasadena) location has moved a couple of blocks down to Old Town, according to the lovely makeup artist below.

So glad I had my buddy by my side to enjoy all the sweets and drinks!

Caviar Manicures

Get ready to see the coolest nail art since...well, like ever. U.K. company Ciate has come out with what they call the "Caviar Manicure." The Caviar Manicure is a set that comes with a bottle of nail polish, a bottle of tiny glass beads, a tray and a funnel.

Peep Fleur de Force's video below for the easy steps on how to apply:

The sets are 18 U.K. pounds, which comes out to about $28.44. These supposedly last about 3-4 days tops. They will be available to us in the United States in April 2012 at Sephora stores for $25/set.  There are three shades to choose from. I am loving the white one...can anyone say BRIDAL?!

Lise Watier's Age-Appropriate Skincare

Canada cosmetics line, Lise Watier, has come out with skincare sets targeted for different age groups. Why didn't anyone think of this before? It makes perfect sense, since every decade has different skin care needs. The skincare sets start at "30+" and go to "50+" Personally, I never think it's too early to start prevention of wrinkles, so I wish they had a "20+" line. But I'll take the 30+ any day. These are a little on the pricey side but if you are particular about what goes on your skin and are willing to spend that extra buck, I highly recommend these. You can find Lise Watier online HERE as well as at Naimie's in Studio City, Calif.
30+  Resist-Age
 Smooth The First Wrinkles
Smooths out fine lines and brings vitality to skin

40+ Lift & Firm
Reveal A New Youth
Improves skin's elasticity and tone

50+ L'Experience
Nourish & Bring Back the Glow
This one pulls out all the stops: deep hydration, wrinkle reduction, density, firmness and radiance.

Miss Selena's Blue Smokey Eyes

I'm back with another celebrity makeup look! This time I picked the ever sweet Selena Gomez. I love her doll-quality skin and how fresh-faced she always looks! I picked the smoky blue look below because it looks fantastic on everyone, especially those with brown eyes. The great thing about having brown eyes is that we can wear any color eye shadow and it will look good. But blue eyeshadow works particularly well on us brown-eyed beauties.

Whether it's from lack of sleep, allergies, stress or a cold, we all have 'em. Those pesky grey bags that hang around our eyes and just won't go away. We've tried every concealer on earth, and nothing helps. After years of having this problem myself, I finally found a formula that works.

1) Eye Cream
2) Peach Color Corrector
3) Concealer

I have been using this on myself, as well as my clients, and no matter what your skin tone is, it really works. Click below to watch how I did it:

Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics- New Spring Colors

I recently snagged some of Youngblood Cosmetics' spring line goodies and wanted to share these gorgeous products with you.

Luminous Creme Blush in Taffeta and Lipstick in Tangelo

Everyone knows that orange is this spring's "it" color and it certainly showed on the runways during Fashion Week as well as every makeup and nail line that has launched recently. Youngblood has stayed on trend by offering up these two beautiful coral colors.

Tangelo ($19) is a sheer coral-orange lipstick that is flattering on all skin tones. This product is super sheer and can be worn by itself for light coverage or layered over pencil (which I prefer) for a bold orange lip. I love its versatility! With ingredients like Sunflower Oil and Vitamin E, all I can say is this stuff feels soft, soft and more soft. Tangelo is on sale for 20% off RIGHT NOW on the YB Skin site! Hurry, $15 is a fabulous price for this lipstick!

Taffeta ($27) is a pinky-coral cream-textured blush that combines a shimmering glow with sheer, long wearing color. I know a lot of people are scared to wear cream blush, but I promise, it's actually easier than powder blush! I swirled two fingers in this cream and dabbed in the center of each cheek, then gently patted the color outward and towards the my temples. I was actually surprised at how saturated the color was. I was ready to pack on a powder blush on top when I realized I really didn't need it. The camera didn't capture the boldness of it, but trust me, it's there. I'm wearing it now in fact, and I even wore it through a yoga class- it's still on! The new "Luminous Creme Blushes" by YBSkin all boast an oil-free formula containing Vitamins C & E, Allantoin (an anti-irritant) and Jojoba Esters (an emollient that makes applying this product smoothly easy)

With flash, lipstick on top, blush on bottom

Without flash, lipstick on top, blush on bottom
Here's a coupe of outdoor shots of me wearing both. See how sheer and beautifully blended the cream blush looks? I did that with my fingers!

I wore Soar lip liner by MAC under Tangelo to make it pop.

I paired the coral cheeks and lips with this spring-inspired green and peach eye

Here's what it looked like indoors

I'd like to also point out that Youngblood Cosmetics does NOT test on animals (yay!)
